Curtin University

Curtin University is the biggest Western Australian social institute and research center. The most impressive discoveries and developments of the University staff and students fall into biotechnology, medical industry, astronomy and economy.

Apart from the main campus located in Perth and nearest cities the University has branches in Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai and Mauritius. About one quarter of Curtin’s students came from 110 countries outside of Australia which makes it one of the most international universities in the world.

The campus provides all the conditions for successful study and leisure activities: libraries, gyms and sports grounds, shops, bank offices. There is furthermore a variety of resources and  support services for the newcomers to help them to integrate into student life with comfort.

Since 1969 Curtin Student Guild runs in the University. It controls majority of outlets in the campus and uses the profit to fund different student clubs and activities during the academic year.

Curtin makes every effort to provide the most relevant knowledge, use modern equipment, carry out applied value researches and train sought after professionals. The university administration seeks to create and support partnership with the government, the industrial sector, international, national and regional companies for joint scientific research and student internship.
